For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. -Matthew 25:35

Needs. The idea of being “needy” is subjective to the recipient. One thing we all do need is the basic, survival instincts in life such as food, water, shelter, warmth and safety, There are many places on this earth where these basics are either lacking or simply non-existent. The bible tells us to reach out to the weak, the hungry and the suffering and to do “works” in faith.

“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:14-17

In order to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to underserved populations we need to enter into a relationship of trust first. We enter in through humanitarian aid through needs which then allows us to slowly gain trust, establish friendships and a common bond of humanity. This in turn opens the door to the gospel.

We work both domestically and internationally to bring missions to those in the greatest need. We serve in developing countries like Guatemala with food, stoves, clean water, wellness programs, and most importantly, evangelism but are also called to help in disaster relief efforts such as in the outer islands of the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian. Our goal is to bring a sense of hope and peace to those in greater need than we are.

Past Missions

Eastern Guatemala

Julian & Kristen have been participating in missions in eastern Guatemala since 2016 with Gainesville Church of God, Gainesville, Florida, before answering the call to move full time to Eastern Guatemala. Both have worked in multiple remote villages in construction, medical, evangelism and feeding efforts. They have been full time in the field since March 2020 at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hurricane Dorian Bahamas

Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas in September of 2019 and Julian and Kristen were called to go help at Man O’ War Cay in a disaster relief capacity. They spent 5 days clearing debris, demolishing dangerous construction and doing roof tarping and repair. This tiny faith based island came together under one church roof (all others were demolished) regardless of denomonation, to give thanks and workship the Lord.
